Brandon Garrett Atencio, 32, of Westminster, Colorado, passed away on July 19, 2024. Born on July 6, 1992, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, Brandon was known for his vibrant spirit and deep love for his family and friends.
Brandon spent most of his career at Front Range Patrol before pursuing his passion for custom welding and fabrication, a job he truly cherished. His work was not just a means to earn a living but a canvas where he expressed his creativity and skill.
A true outdoorsman, Brandon's hobbies included riding his Harley Davidson, dirt biking, being out on the lake, camping, and shooting. These activities not only brought him immense joy but also provided cherished moments with his loved ones. Brandon's weekends were filled with adventure, often spent in the mountains with his fiancé, Samantha Tostenson, and their daughter, Jacqueline Martinez-Atencio.
Brandon's love for his family was unmatched. He is survived by his grandmother, Rose Atencio; grandfather, Sonny Atencio; mother, Stephanie Martinez; Aunt, Lisa Atencio; Uncle; David Atencio; cousins; Troy Atencio and Valerie Passmore; siblings, Jake, Nina, Noah and Celina Martinez; fiancé, Samantha Tostenson; daughter, Jacqueline Martinez-Atencio; brothers-in-law, Jeremy, Zach Tostenson, and James Stewart; sisters-in-law, Kate Martinez and Alexa Tostenson; nephews, Ethan, Jayden, Corbin, and Isaac; and nieces, Alexandra and Lorelei. Brandon also leaves behind his best friends, the Riddell and Arundale families, who shared many memorable moments with him.
Brandon's life was a testament to his ability to make the most of every moment, his dedication to his craft, and his unwavering commitment to his loved ones. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
