Beverlee Tanner

Beverlee Anne Tanner, age 88, died peacefully in the comfort of her home on October 18,2021, in Centennial. Beverlee was a graduate of Wheat Ridge High School, class 0f 1951. There she met her future husband Howard Maurice Tanner. They married June 13, 1952, and were married 64 years before Howard’s death in 2016. Beverlee raised three children – Dennis Eugene, Gerald Maurice, and Cynthia Louise. Also she relocated her family and home 9 times while the children were at home, and at least 4 times afterwards. Some of their more interesting overseas times were inTokyo, Japan; Milan, Italy; Wembley and Hythe, England; Kuala Lampur, Malaysia; and Stavanger and Oslo, Norway.

Beverlee loved her family fiercely, enjoyed gardening, needlework, home décor, bowling,  and enjoyed the company of small children. She also loved her dachshunds, 3 of which she had through the years.

She is survived by her youngest brother Michael Pister,,her son Gerald Tanner (Pam Smith Tanner), her daughter Cynthia Martin (Philip Martin), and 3 half siblings – Marian Cleaver, Gregg Child,and Kellie Pister. She has 3 surviving grandchildren – Jennifer Montez (Ryan Montez), Laura White (Trevor White), and Richard Martin (girlfriend McAlyn Forbes). She has 2 great-grandchildren – Jack Montez and Cooper White.  She is preceded in death by her husband Howard, 2 brothers Keith Pister and Robert Child, her son Dennis Tanner (Laurie Williamson Tanner) and her grandson Ian James Tanner.

A memorial service will be held in her honor and for her survivors Friday January 14th 2022 at 10:00 am, at Horan & McConaty, 5303 E county Line Rd, Littleton CO 80122
