Betty Jean Wood, 76, of Denver, passed away April 11, 2010. She is survived by Clayton D. Wood, her loving husband of 51 years; niece Joan E. Wood and nephew E. Gordon (Sharon) Wood. Betty was a first and second grade schoolteacher for the Denver Public Schools, retiring in 1989. Funeral Service 11:00 Thursday, Central Christian Church, 3690 Cherry Creek South Drive, where she was in the church choir for many years. A memorial is established with the Tennyson Center for Children, 2950 Tennyson Street, Denver, 80212.
