Betty Lou Moody entered into life December 11, 1932 and entered into eternal life on November 11,2023. Born to Margaret Friel-Russey & Clarence Russey in Denver Colorado.
Betty had no siblings, however she always thought of her mothers younger sister, Ethel Friel-Barker as her big sister. They shared everything from the birth of Kelly Jo to the death's of their husbands. They were very close.
Betty married Arthur F. Moody at a young age. They began their life together & had six children; Donald Frank, Lynette Marie, Leslie Elaine, Bruce Steven (preceded in death at six months of age) Lisa Ann & Christopher Scott. Betty and Art never forgot their son Bruce.
Their children produced ten grandchildren; Penny Bartlett, married to Matt Bartlett, Travis Moody, Sara Moody-Mayer married to Monte Mayer, Lance Barela married to Satoko Barela, Andrea Barela-Solecki married to Steve Solecki, Jaynie Wahl married to Michael Wahl, Susan Smith married to Lance Smith, Eric Moody married to Randi Moody, Heather Moody-Kruse married to Andy Kruse, Brandon Moody married to Amy Moody.
Betty had seventeen great grandchildren; Matthew, Amanda, & Kyle Barlett (preceded in death) Kylie & Kierstin Solecki, Vincent, Magnus & Wrenna Wahl, Aidan & Annabelle Smith, Kristian & Reagan Moody, Adam, Samantha & Matthew Kruse, Silas & Delilah Moody.
Betty had great great grandchildren; Kaydence Bartlett, Sanne' Surrah, Sebastian Surrah, Brooklyn Bartlett, Austin Bartlett, & Kalen Bartlett (preceeded in death) Betty loved them all.
Betty worked at Colorado General Hospital most of her working life. She was an intake/secretary specialist. She retired after decades of service. In retirement she & dad traveled many places in several neighboring states. She loved the home she & dad raised their family in. She spent many hours taking care of it out of love.
Betty was very devoted to the Catholic Church. She had a devout respect for Mother Mary & The Holy Family.
May she rest in peace in God's loving arms, her health restored & is in peace.
