Bernardine Ann Logan passed away on December 7, 2014. She leaves behind her loving husband Robert E. Logan. Her son Brent Logan and his wife Ann live with their daughters, Courtney and Emily, in Monte Vista, Colorado, and Brent's son Justin lives in San Jose, California. Bernie's daughter, Nancy DiRienzo, resides with her husband Gary in Breckenridge, Colorado. Bernie had many accomplishments in life, both in her career and with her family. Throughout her career, she loved working with children, starting with as a nurse at Children's Hospital and ending as a Nurse Practitioner at Denver Public Schools. Even in retirement, she continued to work with children as a volunteer with the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and as a Storyteller with the Spellbinders organization. In her personal life, she loved to travel, visited much of the world, and she flew all over the country with Bob in his airplane. To her family and friends, Bernie was a generous, loving person who cared deeply for the people in her life. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
