Bernard Alexander

1944 — January 1, 2021

Denver, Colorado

Bernard "Ben" Alexander of Denver died Friday, November 5th, 2021 from complications due to a breakthrough case of COVID-19.
He was born March 23, 1944, in Nebraska the son of Dean and Ruth (Rhemus) Alexander. He was married to Elizabeth "Betsy" Sperry on August 22, 2008, but they were together for almost 20 years before tying the knot!  Their relationship was filled with so much love, many laughs, and adventures.  Ben was a distribution manager at Robison Dairy, a Vietnam veteran, and an avid golfer.  He enjoyed filling his free time with music, books, and walks with his beloved dog Willie.  Throughout his life, he was known for his love of dogs, dedication to learning, innovative mind, energy, enthusiasm, and irreverent sense of humor.  He was an extremely generous and kind man and everyone he met instantly fell in love with him. Ben has left a lasting mark on the memories and hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betsy on April 3, 2014.  He is survived by his son, Chad Alexander and his wife Jennifer Scollon and grandchildren Logan, Eden, and April of Denver, Colorado; Niece Nicole Henry and her husband Alan and his sister Deanne, of Wyoming.

We are asking everyone who hasn't to please get vaccinated.
Given Ben's love of dogs, in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Max Fund Animal Shelter and the Hobo Care Boxer Rescue.
