Barbara Marie Weber, age 88, died April 19, 2023 in Wheat Ridge, Jefferson County, Colorado following hospice after serious illness. She was born in Kersey, Weld County, CO, April 9, 1935 to Joseph Carl Weber Sr. and Evelyn Winfield (Burbridge) Weber. She lived most of her life in Jefferson County (65 years) maintaining a home and garden for much of that time in Golden. She also loved time in the Colorado mountains. She was Leadville High School Valedictorian (1953), Regis University graduate (1981), Life Member of American Legion Auxiliary (Unit 21, Golden, CO), an avid gardener, prolific reader, and had keen interest in researching family ancestry. Her varied career included time as an accountant, hotel sales director, and mining analyst. Her favorite profession was working in the mining industry because she enjoyed the international travel to Canada, Europe, Japan, and Brazil. Married to Louis R. Baldessari 1953; divorced 1983. Survived by: daughter Cynthia Lee (Clark) Morrell; sons Louis Roderick Baldessari, Jonathan Ray Baldessari (Marybel), Anthony Dean Baldessari (Kelly); sisters Mary (Norman) Smallwood and Margaret (John) Luccio; brother Charles Weber; sister-in-law Carol Weber; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, sister JoEllen Rauch, brother Joseph Weber, sister-in-law Diana Weber, and her former husband. Private graveside services for immediate family only will be May 9, 2023 with interment in Golden Cemetery. Celebration of Life gathering is planned for later in 2023, details pending.
