Barbara Givens

In loving memory of Barbara Ann Givens. Barbara Ann passed on November 6, 2022 in Parker, Colorado. Barbara was born March 18th, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas to Lucille M Stewart. Grandparents Roy and Opal Stewart. Barbara and her family moved to Texas prior to attending the University of Colorado at Boulder to study nursing. Barbara was a dedicated mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, and cherished the many years volunteering at Aurora Regional Hospital. Barbara was surrounded by her family in peace.

Barbara is survived by her husband Glenn Givens, daughter Michelle Myers and husband Mark Myers and daughter Jennifer Barnes. Granddaughter Heather Sheets and husband Scott Sheets, granddaughter Amanda Pontillo and husband Rocky Pontillo, granddaughter Sienna Serena and husband Ryan Serena and granddaughter Shelbie Myers. Great grandchildren Cru Sheets, Link Sheets, Frankie Pontillo and Stevie Pontillo. Glenn's son Brian Givens and wife Kristy Givens, son Bruce Givens and wife Sandra Givens, daughter Chandra Coyne and husband David Coyne. Glenn's grandchildren Bryce Givens, Bailee Givens, Hanna Coyne and Jacob Coyne. Glenn's great grandchildren, Oliver Matthews, Orion Matthews, Serena Matthews and Jailynn Coyne.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, a visitation will begin at 11am followed a funeral service at 12pm at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel located at 11150 E Dartmouth Avenue, Aurora 80014.  Family and friends are invited to join for a celebration of life at Barbara’s daughter, Michelle’s, home in Parker following the service. Details and directions will be provided at the service.
