Barbara A. Finn (Tedesco)

Barbara Finn (Tedesco) passed away on June 24, 2024, in Littleton, Colorado, at the age of 92. She is survived by her four sisters, Brenda Noke, Nancy Park, Janet Taylor and Vera Welch; her four children, Rodney Finn (Lori), Michael Finn (Marguerite), William Finn and Lori Lee (Thomas); 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is reunited with her parents Michael Tedesco and Vera Chiofaro Tedesco.

Barbara was born in Newton, Massachusetts in 1931. She graduated from Waltham High School and Forsyth Institute for Dentistry. At the age of 22, she moved to Evanston, Illinois, and began her career as a dental hygienist. She was a loving mother and faithful servant of Christ. She was a Minister of Care and Eucharistic Minister for the Archdiocese of Chicago for 35 years where she assisted the elderly in transportation to appointments and delivering the Eucharist to the home bound and those in hospitals and nursing care. She was also a dedicated volunteer for Misericordia Heart of Mercy in Chicago, Illinois, supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for nearly 15 years. She was always so proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and they were the center of her life. 

Funeral Mass will be held on July 16, 2024, at 10:00 am, All Souls Catholic Church, 4950 South Logan St., Englewood, Colorado.
