Barbara Mary Emerson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Mary Emerson on October 1st 2024 in Highlands Ranch. Barbara was born on January 2nd 1948 in Milwaukee to her loving parents Arthur and Mary Herman. 

She met the love of her life Jim while attending Washington High School 61 years ago and then moved on to St. Josephs Hospital, school of Radiology where she graduated and became a well-respected radiology technician. She also worked in hospitals with medical examiners doing insurance as well as many orthopedic surgeon offices. Jim and Barbara left Milwaukee to move to Mounds View Minnesota in 1979 and then made the journey to Huntsville Alabama before continuing on Beloit Wisconsin. After Beloit there was sometime spent in Green Bay, before finally settling down in Highlands Ranch Colorado in 2004.  Barbara was very supportive to Jim during these times and he cannot be more grateful.

 Barbara enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones. If the Green Bay Packer or the Wisconsin Badgers were playing you can bet Barbara was there cheering them on. 

She is survived by Jim Emerson her loving husband of 56 years, her Sons Michael (Erika), Chad (Tina), her brothers Jim and Terry (Pat).  Grandchildren Ally, Hannah, Kae, Aiden her beloved dog Buddy, a great deal of friends around the world.
