Barbara McLaren Boucher

February 26, 1929 — October 27, 2025

Barbara “Bobbie” McLaren Boucher passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on October 27th at the age of 96. Bobbie was born February 26, 1929, in South Orange NJ, but spent most of her young life in Princeton, NJ. She graduated from The Masters School, Bennett Junior College and Middlebury College. Along with her husband and her adventurous spirit, Bobbie came to Colorado in 1950. She immersed herself in the figure skating community both as a skater and an international judge. However, her greatest passion in life was tennis. Bobbie played competitive tennis for over seventy-five years. When she wasn’t on the court, she was a pillar of her community, walking her beloved dogs and maintaining decades-long friendships with so many loving neighbors and friends. An avid sports fan and competitor, she followed every game and match with enthusiasm - whether it was tennis, hockey, football, you name it - she knew the players, the scores and who was on a win streak. She is survived by her three children, Robin Davis, Peter (Caroline) Boucher, Libby (David) Bohonnon, 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Bobbie will be greatly missed by her family and her many lifelong friends. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Brookdale University Park and Cherry Hills Assisted Living and Memory Care for their kindness and wonderful care of Bobbie. A private service will be held by the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humane Colorado, formerly The Denver Dumb Friends League, an organization dear to Bobbie’s heart.
