Aurora Manzanares

Aurora, "Arnie", Manzanares passed away on February I, 2024. She was born on November 22, I924 in Denver, Colorado.

Aurora is survived by her children Donald (Jan), Dora Meyer, Tony (Charlene). Grand children: Felicia, David, Michelle, Anthony, Alejandro, Lisa, Randy. Great grandchildren: Ryland, Brooklyn, Hayes, Randall, Isabelle. Great great grandchild Rylie. In addition: her brother, Bob, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Aurora is preceded in death by husband Fred and son Gary.

Aurora was an avid reader, loved to go to Las Vegas, Blackhawk and play slot machines. She also enjoyed her ladies sewing circle group. Most importantly she was a generous, kind, loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. In her 99 years she had many friendships, was respected from all the people whose lives she touched. She will be dearly missed but her spirit, wisdom, and love will live on in the minds and hearts of all who knew, respected and loved her.

Memorial services will be held on March 16, 2024 at 11:00AM at Horan & McConaty Chapel. 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, Colorado. Internment services on Tuesday March 19, 2024 at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 9:30AM.
