Audrey T. Hillman

Audrey T. Hillman, 99, of Denver, passed away on January 2, 2017 at Dayton Place. Born on September 8, 1917, she was the daughter of the late George and Hannah O. (Vikse) Simonson. On November 1, 1947, she married Ld L. Hillman, and together they made their homes in Minneapolis, MN, Littleton, CO, Detroit Lakes, MN, and returned to Colorado. Her family and faith were most important to her. She was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church in Denver. She is survived by, her children: Charles (Kathy) Hillman, David Hillman and Diane (Butch) Bowers; her grandchildren: Sean Hillman, and Hannah (Sean) Dixon; and many nieces and nephews and their families, along with many friends. She is predeceased by her husband, her parents, her grandson, John; her brothers: Chris, Oliver, Carl, and Russ and their spouses; her sisters: Duella, Mardell, Birdie, Myrtle, Ruth, Alvine, Judy, Kay, Elaine, Elnora, and Clara and their spouses; and several nephews and their spouses. A visitation for Audrey will be held at 1PM at Shell Creek Lutheran Church, 614 Burrows Ave. Newman Grove, Nebraska, followed by a funeral service at 2PM and burial in Shell Creek Cemetery in Newman Grove, NE. Coffee and a luncheon will be served following burial to conclude Audrey's celebration in the church reception area. Memorial donations may be made to Shell Creek Lutheran Church.
