Armand Allain

Armand (Al) Victor Allain, March 22, 1935 - April 5, 2023, passed peacefully in Wheat Ridge, Colorado at the age of 88. After graduating high school Al enlisted in the Navy and later transferred to the Air Force. He married Frances Elaine Osgood in 1955 in Salem, Massachusetts. They lived in Florida and Alaska before settling in Colorado. After leaving the Air Force he spent many years managing a McDonalds. Deciding to pursue his career as an electrician, he worked for a few electrical companies and then started his own business as an electrical contractor. He eventually sold his business and went to work as a maintenance manager at Rocky Flats until it closed. Al and Fran were avid campers and enjoyed traveling throughout the States and Canada. Their love of camping led them to become lifetime members of the Good Sam Club. Al held many roles at the local and state level, and served as the Colorado State Director for many years. Al is preceded in death by both parents, his sister Rita Millett and brothers Oscar Allain and Richard Allain. He is survived by his wife Frances, daughter Cheryl (Paul) Ramage, daughter Janet Price, daughter Gail (Edward) Hogan, and son Craig (Kimberly) Allain. Al has six grandchildren, Jason (Carlie) Allain, Jessica Price, Amy (Tyler) Slosser, Amber Allain, Joseph (Amy) Hogan, and Brian (Samantha Reynoso) Hogan. He has six great-grandchildren, Stephen Slosser, Parker Allain, Anson Slosser, Ashlyn Allain, Kolby Hogan, and Rhett Slosser. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 18th at 10:30 a.m. at Horan & McConaty, 7577 W 80th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003. Following the celebration there will be a burial at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236. Staging will be at 1:15 p.m. in Area B before proceeding to the ceremony site. Keeping with Al’s wishes, the family is requesting donations to Ronald McDonald House in lieu of flowers.
