Arlene Mae Herner

Arlene Herner, 76, of Denver, passed away Feb. 26, 2014. Survived by her husband, Clyde, children Wendy O'Donnell (Steve), Keith Herner (Mandy) and Kristi Herner. Her grandchildren, Shawn and Julia O'Donnell, Todd and Brianna Herner. She was the head secretary at Sabin Elementary School for many years. Arlene and Clyde enjoyed many trips around the world during retirement. They were married 58 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. Viewing will be on Sunday at 1:00 pm and services will be held at 2:00 pm at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO. A reception will follow. She will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Arlene's name to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
