Arlene Marilyn Foster

Arlene Marilyn Foster, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, in Centennial, Colorado. Born on October 17, 1932, in Omaha, Nebraska, she lived a remarkable life marked by dedication to her family and community.

Arlene was known for her devoted service as a Aurora Public school bus driver, a role that allowed her to touch the lives of countless children.

A graduate of North High School in Omaha, Arlene carried with her a spirit of determination and resilience that she imparted to her family and friends. Arlene’s hobbies included bowling and playing bunco with friends and family. Her love for all things pink was a vibrant expression of her personality.

Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Lelon Lyle Foster, parents Thelma D. Frazier and Paul Russel Frazier, sisters, Caryl Larsen and Dorothy Nelson and brother, Dean Frazier.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her children:, Scott T. Foster (Nancy), Lynn R. Foster, Russel W. Foster (Kay) and Sharon Kay Divin. She was a cherished grandmother to nine grandchildren, including Quinn Foster (Andrea), Reid Foster (Hattie), Grant Foster (Bailey), Mitchell Divin (Lidia), Kylie Divin, Leif Foster, Kyle Wilde (Shyanne), Drew Wilde (Lindsey), and Megan Foster. Additionally, her loving memory will be carried on by her many great-grandchildren.

She will be remembered fondly by those whose lives she enriched, and her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A memorial service to celebrate Arlene's life will be held on September 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - Southeast Denver/Aurora in Aurora, Colorado. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather at the HeartLight Center from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Arlene Marilyn Foster will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever be ingrained in the hearts of her family and friends.
