Our sweet boy, Arik Orion Forrester, left this earthly plane to be with God on March 11, 2024, Arik passed in his home in Aurora, Colorado.
Arik was born into challenging circumstances and airlifted to an intensive NICU shortly after birth soon to be diagnosed with a rare genetic condition Mosaic Triploidy. Arik learned to walk in a walker, crawl unassisted, pull himself to his knees, hold his own bottle and communicate with his family in his own way. Even though Arik was nonverbal he still managed to say the words “pop pop” and “ I Love you”( to his favorite person, his grandmother), ”mum mum” and “boo boo”. Arik loved music, dancing, Star Wars, swings, the wheels on the bus, his favorite monkey toy, and his family. His sweet, loving, and determined personality showed through without any words to everyone he encountered.
He is survived by his younger brother Gabriel Gurule, mother Moniça Richardson, stepfather Daniel Gurule, grandmother Lalena Richardson, grandfather Emerson Richardson V, Uncle Emerson Richardson VI, and numerous extended family members. Arik was loved by many, and his infectious smile and laughter will be remembered forever. Arik touched thousands of lives in his lifetime and his impact will be remembered for as long as we all live. We love you baby.
Family and friends are invited to join us for a service at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, CO 80014: on Thursday, March 28, beginning at 10:00 Am.
