Obituary

Today, our world has changed with the unexpected loss of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Arigrios “Eddie” Kamilatos, age 71, of Aurora, Colorado. Born in Lourdata, Kefallonia, Greece, Eddie later made his home in Aurora, where he passed away surrounded by the love of his family.

Eddie was the most loving husband, father, and grandfather anyone could ever ask for. A hardworking and dedicated man, he spent over 50 years working at the Columbine Steak House, where his commitment, pride in his work, and strong work ethic made a lasting impression on all who knew him. He worked tirelessly throughout his life to provide for his family, giving them everything he possibly could. His love was not only expressed through words, but through every sacrifice he made, every long day he worked, and every moment he put his family first.

He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Dimitra. For 48 years, they shared a love so deep that most people could only witness it, never truly understand it. His love for her was unwavering—a quiet strength, a constant devotion, and a lifetime of choosing her every single day. Through every joy, every challenge, and every passing year, she remained the center of his world. Their marriage was not just a love story; it was a rare and beautiful example of what it means to love someone completely, faithfully, and forever.

He was a proud father to Kathy (Vasilios) and Sammy (Kristine); and a cherished grandfather to Harry(Ciara). Eddie was a true provider, protector, and teacher—everything he did was for the people he loved. His legacy lives on through the countless memories he created and the values he instilled in his family.

The hole left in our hearts is impossible to describe. We will deeply miss his laughter, his strength, his guidance, and his unconditional love.

We love you so much. Thank you for everything you did for us and for the incredible example you set. You will always be with us, and your love will live on in our hearts forever.

He is reunited with his son, Harry, who preceded him in death. Until we meet again, you will be deeply loved, dearly missed, and never forgotten.

We love you always.
