Antonio E. Fernandez – Tony Fernandez, 82, died unexpectedly May 26, 2025, at Swedish Hospital. He was born May 10, 1943, in Denver, Colorado, the son of Raymond and Frances (Abad) Fernandez. Tony graduated from North High School, Class of 1961. Following graduation, he served as a Sgt. in the U.S. Marine Corps (1966) during the Vietnam War. After the war, he married his greatest love, Lydia (Herrera) Fernandez, and they lived in Denver, Colorado. They celebrated 57 years of marriage in September 2024. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Mary Duran, Rebecca Berzoza, and his great granddaughter Paisley Jordyn Headrick. Survived by his wife, Lydia (Herrera) Fernandez; daughters, Gloria (Keith) Goins, Stephanie Fernandez (Lisa Stone), Antoinette (Lorenzo) Fernandez; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; many nieces and nephews. A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at All Saints Catholic Church, 2559 S. Federal Blvd. Denver, Colorado. Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado, 1:30 p.m..
