Anthony Dominic Ester

In the early morning hours of December 3, 2019, Anthony “Tony, T-Dog” Ester gained his Angel wings after a very long, hard battle with Osteosarcoma. He was surrounded in love and had his family with him to the very end letting him know he is safe, he is loved and that his angels were ready and waiting to take him home. Our family is absolutely devastated with the loss of this amazing sweet boy. Anyone who has been blessed to know him knows he put everyone before himself and was the kindest, gentlest soul you will have ever met.

Tony was born at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital, Denver, Colorado on September 23, 2005 to James and Heather Ester - a true Colorado native. This year, Tony was a freshman at Smoky Hill High School, where he was an enthusiastic student of the Automotive Department. Tony was also the proud owner of a lime-green Mini Cooper, which won Best Import at the Smoky Hill Auto Show, and a member of a Mini Cooper R53 owners club based in Great Britain. Tony was a son, brother, friend, and inspiration; he will be greatly missed.

Tony is survived by his parents, James Ester and Heather Ester; siblings, Aidan James Ester, Emma Elizabeth Ester, Nicholas Allen Ester, Julian Dominguez; paternal grandfather, James R. Ester; maternal grandmother, Jane F. O'Leary; nana, Karen Then. Tony also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, who will miss him dearly. Tony was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Richard Allen O'Leary, and paternal grandmother, Linda Lee Ester.
