Anthony Eugene Cordova completed his life's journey on March 4, 2023, at the exact age of 59. Anthony was born on March 4,1964 in Long Beach, California to Juanita and Robert Cordova. He was the second oldest of five siblings and was raised in Denver, Colorado, where he remained for the duration of his life. He grew up in a tight knit family that included a loving mother and father, three brothers, a sister and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Anthony was a hardworking man who kept busy often working well into the evening hours and on the weekends. He enjoyed being on the go, all while making many friends along the way. He loved to read, play chess, and bet on the horses. His good fortune paid off when he met the love of his life, Rita, while placing wagers at the races. They fell in love and were married on May 3,1996. Together they had their beautiful daughter, Jessica.
Following his wife Rita’s untimely death in 2009, Anthony took on the role of a devoted single parent. Through his determination he dedicated his life to caring for Jessica.
In addition to Jessica, he is survived by his mother, Juanita, his three brothers, Robert, Conrad and Chris, his sister, Margaret, and many loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.
He was a loving and amazing father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed.
