Anthony Joseph Cicerelli

Anthony Joseph Cicerelli, affectionately known as Tony, sadly passed away at home in his sleep on November 18, 2023 at the age of 72. 

Tony was born on January 4, 1951 and raised in Westchester County, New York.  He was very proud of both his east-coast upbringing and Italian-American heritage.  Tony moved to Denver, Colorado in 1969 and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Denver in 1973.  He continued his education to pursue a career as an attorney and later received a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Denver in 1977.

Tony practiced law in Colorado for 45 years.  He had a genuine passion for helping his clients, especially those that he believed to be underserved.  As a client, you knew he would work tirelessly to provide the best legal representation possible.

He loved going out to dinner with family and friends, listening to his favorite music with the volume at full-blast, and sipping on a Manhattan.  He also enjoyed traveling and cherished his vacation home in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico where he shared many memories with friends and family.

Tony is survived by his son, Joseph Anthony Cicerelli, daughter-in-law, Stephanie Cicerelli, and his only grandchild Beau Anthony Cicerelli.  He is also survived by his siblings Carole Flores and Joseph R. Cicerelli, his step-son Sean Cicerelli, and several nieces, cousins, and many close friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Angela Malafronte, his father, Joseph Anthony Cicerelli, and his favorite grandfather and namesake, Anthony Joseph Cicerelli.

Tony will be greatly missed for his sense of humor, compassion, and generosity, yet we take solace in knowing that he is now at peace.
