Anne Murphy Fahey

Anne Murphy Fahey, 76, passed away on October 21, 2026, at her home, surrounded by family and lifelong friends. Born in Boston in May 1950, she spent her career as a nurse at Denver General and Children’s Hospital. She was caring and strong, but very stubborn.
Cancer picked a fight with the wrong woman in 1988, and Anne held it off for nearly 40 years, mostly by being too busy living to pay it much attention. She and her husband, Larry, traveled the world every chance they got. Nothing made her happier than hearing from her grandchildren, and she remembered every detail they told her.
Anne is survived by her husband of 47 years, Larry; her children, Brian and Molly; her stepchild, Heather; her eight grandchildren; and a wide circle of friends whose care and loyalty carried her through her final months.
