Annabelle M. Deline

Annabelle Monaghan Deline was born October 14, 1931. Loving Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. Her parents were John Henry Monaghan and Neta Miller Monaghan. Her loving husband, Robert E. Deline, predeceased her on November 13, 2023. She is survived by her sons Robert H. Deline (Barbara A. Deline) and Thomas C. Deline (Margaret M. Deline), her grandchildren Robert E. Deline, William A. Deline (Paige M. Deline), Elizabeth Deline Williams (Brett M. Williams), Thomas C. Deline II, Brian E. Deline (Michele P. Deline), and Carrie B. Deline, great grandchildren Jameson Robert Deline, Hendrick Charles Williams, and Baker Matthew Williams. 

Annabelle was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Annabelle attended Elementary and High School at St. Mary's Academy. She excelled in academics. Annabelle attended and graduated from the University of Denver. While at DU she was very active with her sorority, Pi Beta Phi, and many of the social functions at DU during her tenure. On September 12, 1953, Annabelle married her High School sweetheart Robert E. (Bob) Deline at Christ the King Catholic Church. Together they created a close-knit loving family. She was always very active in raising her sons and with their education. She served on the Board for Regis College, Regis High School, St. Mary's Academy, and Catholic Charities and assisted numerous other charitable endeavors. Annabelle was a past Chairwoman of the Adam's County, Colorado Republican Party. She was successful in residential real estate brokerage, and she and Bob co-founded Deline Co. Realty, she also started and ran her own Interior Design Company. She was integrally involved in the family businesses of Monaghan Farms, Monaghan Management and Deline Associates. She helped lead the family with the wheat and grain farm enterprises, thoroughbred horse racing, cattle ranch expansion, and commercial real estate investments. She and Bob thoroughly enjoyed travel and general aviation and she flew with Bob to Canada, Mexico and throughout the Southwest areas of the United States. She and Bob also enjoyed boating, and deep-sea fishing. They maintained power boats in Colorado, Mexico, and California for many decades. She was a Senior Flag Member at the Coronado Yacht Club and Senior Member at the Denver Country Club. Annabelle always thought of others and she truly cared about her family, friends, and all that she met. She was always very quiet about her philanthropic endeavors. She never sought praise or accolades for any of her fine work throughout her life. She was a parishioner at Christ the King Catholic Church. The Good Lord brought her home on April 11, 2024. 

Funeral arrangements are through Horan & McConaty Mortuary. Recitation of the Rosary will be Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 7pm at the Horan & McConaty Chapel, 1091 S. Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80246. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, April 19, 2024 at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 830 Elm Street, Denver. CO 80220.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that donations be made in Annabelle's name to St. Mary's Academy located in Englewood, CO or Regis Jesuit High School located in Aurora, CO.
