Ann Williams Johnson, 78 passed away October 18, 2018. She was born January 5, 1940 in Fort Morgan, CO.
She is preceded in death by per parents, Victor and Betty Williams and her grandson Taylor Wallin. Ann is survived by her children, Vicki (Joe) Owens-Wallin of Denver, Darryl Johnson of Denver, and Suzanne (Ron) Bowman of Highlands Ranch along with her grandchildren Adam Owens, Anna Owens, and Victoria Bowman.
Ann always had a keen interest in healthcare serving as a young volunteer at the Fort Morgan Community Hospital, attending Colorado College in their Radiology Technician program, and for the greater part of her life, working as a medical practice manager and medical transcriptionist. Her long career in healthcare came to an abrupt end in 2013 following a retinal hemorrhage as result of her battle with macular degeneration.
Ann was an accomplished pianist, often playing at family gatherings and was a part of Denver history, accompanying her vocalist husband Jerry at the Denver Parks Show Wagons in the late 1960's/early 1970's. She loved to travel solo or with friends and was an avid Colorado Rockies and Denver Bronco fan, spending hours listening to sports radio and post-game highlight shows. She loved cocker spaniels and over the course of her later life, she had several beloved furry friends, Chelsea, Taffy, and Kobie.
Above all, Ann was a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother and rarely missed a sporting, school, or social event. She wrote several years ago that her children and grandchildren were her world and made her life complete. She reminded us ""Time just goes by too fast to enjoy what is most important, our family-slow down and enjoy every moment.""
