Ana D Barrera -Villamil (1927- 2023), familiarmente conocida como Anita, falleció pacíficamente en Denver, CO el 9 de Agosto de 2023. Anita nació en Bogotá, Colombia, S. América. Madre de 5 hijos, Anita enviudó a los 32 años y se dedicó a criar a sus 5 hijos. Anita fue una mujer decidida, emprendedora, con un carácter fuerte y un espíritu de niña. Ella amaba la naturaleza, la jardinería y viajar. Anita finalmente emigró a Denver, Colorado, para reunirse y vivir con sus hijas Isabel y Yolanda, quienes disfrutaron de su dulce compañía hasta el final de su vida.

Sus hijos Julio, Isabel, Miguel, Yolanda y Polo Barrera, y sus nietos y bisnietos, invitan a  la  CELEBRACIÓN DE VIDA que se llevará a cabo en Horan & McConaty, Funeral & Cremation Services ,  11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014 ,  el viernes 8 de septiembre a las 11:00 a.m.

La CELEBRACIÓN DE VIDA también se transmitirá en vivo vía ZOOM, para aquellos de ustedes que no pueden asistir en persona o que prefieren acompañarnos desde la comodidad de su hogar.

Ana D Barrera-Villamil (1927-2023), familiarly known as Anita, passed away peacefully in Denver, CO on August 9, 2023. Anita was born in Bogotá, Colombia, S. America. Mother of 5 children, Anita was widowed at age 32 and dedicated herself to raising her 5 children. Anita was a determined, “warrior “woman, with a strong character and a child-like spirit. She loved nature, gardening and traveling. Anita eventually immigrated to Denver, Colorado, to reunite and live with her daughters Isabel and Yolanda, who enjoyed her sweet company until the end of her life.

Her children Julio, Isabel, Miguel, Yolanda and Polo Barrera, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, invite you to the CELEBRATION OF LIFE to be held at Horan & McConaty, Funeral & Cremation Services, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014 , on Friday, September 8 at 11:00 a.m.

The CELEBRATION OF LIFE will also be Live- streamed via ZOOM, for those of you who are unable to attend in person or who prefer to join us from the comfort of your home.
