Amy Lea Evans

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Amy Lea Evans. At the age of 47, Amy left this world peacefully on July 10, 2026, at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.

Amy was the daughter of Nancy Alexander and Neal Von Ahsen. Those who knew Amy will forever carry the memory of her boisterous, contagious laughter, her razor-sharp wit, and a radiant smile that could instantly warm any room.

In 1996, Amy began her journey of motherhood when she gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Marriah. She later married Chad Evans in 2001, and together they welcomed three wonderful boys into the world: Sage, Xander, and Brekken. Amy's spirit now serves as a guardian angel, watching over her sweet granddaughter, Salem June.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy; her father, Neal, and his wife, Sharon; her four children, Marriah, Sage (Mykaela), Xander, and Brekken; her brother, Jody (Hillary); her granddaughter, Salem; her half-sisters, Kelli and Brooke; her half-brother, Travis; former stepfather, Dick Alexander; and a loving extended network of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Amy is now beautifully reunited in peace with those who went before her, including her maternal grandmother, Beverly Voss; her paternal grandparents, Mervin and Darlene Von Ahsen; her aunt, Cindy Schweitzer; and her aunt, Paulette Bates.

The family will honor Amy’s life in a private ceremony to be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, and to keep Amy’s bright spirit alive, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity close to your own heart.
