Amelia Agnes Wieser-Dietz passed peacefully around 9:30am on Friday 1/19/2024 from natural causes at the age of 88 years old. She was born on 10/4/1935 in Dalton, Nebraska to John and Theresa Van Anne - one of 13 children. She grew up working and playing on the family farm and graduated from Dalton High School. She met Robert Henry Wieser “Bob” at a local dance and they were married after Bob returned from the Korean War on June 8, 1957. They moved to Denver, Colorado to work and raise a family. Bob Wieser passed away in 1998, and Amy is survived by her daughter Julie Rene Weimer and son Jeffrey Robert Wieser. Amy loved her family and her church and was a very active parishioner at Notre Dame Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held at Notre Dame this Friday 1/26/24 at 10am followed by her burial with her beloved husband Bob at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 1pm. Please join us in celebrating Amy’s life and now her place with the Angels in Heaven.
