Alys L. Reevie, age 97, was born on July 16, 1926, in Passaic, New Jersey to Archibald and Florence Jacoby Kirkland, and passed away on April 10, 2024, in Aurora, Colorado.

Alys was married to Joseph James Reevie, who passed away in 2002. Alys is survived by her loving children, Karen (Joe) McDonough and Jim (Lorri) Reevie. She was preceded in death by her son, John Kirkland Reevie.

Alys is also survived by her grandchildren Brynn (Kevin) Thomas, Kirk (Jenny) Reevie, Greg (Lindsey) Reevie, and seven great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.
Alys will be remembered fondly by her family and friends. A private family service will be held to honor her life. She will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery alongside her husband, Joseph.
