Allen H. Wood IV was born December 14, 1950 to Barbara B. & Allen H. Wood III at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was married to Janet Ramsey for 40 years until she passed away in 2018.
Allen was a member of the 173rd Airborne brigade completing one tour in Vietnam in 1970.
He attended the University of Colorado earning a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts graduating in 1985.
Allen's professional career was diverse from working in the outdoor industry to certifying medical records.
He is survived by two brothers: Daniel (Lynn M.) and Bruce, as well as Cynthia Ramsey, sister-in-law, and Stephen Ramsey, brother-in-law.
A Celebration of Allen's life will be held Monday, August 15, 2022, 11am, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood. Committal with military honors will follow at 2:30pm, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area B.
