Allen W. McClure, Sr.

Allen W. McClure, Sr. left us to be with his recently deceased wife on January 17, 2017. He was born in 1925 in Denver, Colorado. He joined the Navy at the young age of 17 and four years later, married the love of his life, Mary. Allen served 20 years in the military before starting and retiring from Gates Rubber Company. Allen helped raise three children, Carol, Darlene, and The Late Allen ""Bill"" Jr. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held in memory of Allen on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 12:30PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80122. Immediately following at 2:15PM, Graveside Services with Military Honors Rendered by the United States Navy will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area 'C', 4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO 80236. Please share memories and condolences with the family below.
