Alice Griffin Thames

Born Sept. 23, 1907 in Silsbee, TX. Graduated from Texas Women's Univ. in 1928. Married William Rouse Thames in 1930. Lived in Beaumont, TX where she and her husband owned Bill Thames Pharmacy. She was an active member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, an elementary teacher, and supported many volunteer organizations. Survived by daughter Alice Gay Thames of Denver, and nephew Murray Thames Parker of Santa Rosa, and a large collection of beloved friends and admirers spanning generations.
