Alice R. Hayden

Littleton, CO

Alice R. Hayden, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away May 12, 2025 at her home. She was born on October 13, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York. Alice first met her future husband Jim in high school, but they didn't start dating until after graduation. They married soon after on July 3, 1960. Alice held many different jobs during her lifetime, but she was most passionate and proud of being a pre-K teacher.

Alice was a kind person who was quick to smile and had an infectious laugh. She was an amazing artist, winning many awards for her paintings. Alice read the newspaper every morning, never missed an episode of soap opera Days of Our Lives, and enjoyed Sudoku, jigsaw puzzles and spending time either chatting or playing games with her family and friends.

Alice is survived by her husband of almost 65 years James J. Hayden; her children Lori A. Vanderbur, Jeffrey M. Hayden and Karen M. Hayden; and her granddaughter Kayla J. Braune and her husband Johnny Erlenbach.
