Alice Faye Trujillo passed away on May 10, 2025. She was born on October 24, 1937 in North Adams, MA to Arthur and Marion Dustin. She enjoyed her time in Massachusetts, being close to extended family. She would share stories about taking piano lessons and watching her father play ice hockey. Alice was the oldest of 4 daughters, and at 13, Alice's mom and dad moved her and her three sisters to Vallejo, CA.
Once settled in Vallejo, her mother opened a restaurant and Alice shared memories of helping out in the kitchen. Marion was a baker and passed down that knowledge to her daughter, who then passed it on to her own children. Those who had the opportunity to taste Alice's baked goods know that she put love into all she created.
She married Armando in 1968, while he was serving in the Air Force. Thanks to his career in the Armed Forces, they traveled around the world for several years until his retirement in 1975. The family settled in Lakewood, CO and has been here since. She was a fan of the Denver Broncos, the New England Patriots, and loved watching the Colorado Avalanche.
Alice was a strong, resilient woman. She was a devout Catholic who never wavered in her faith. She loved her family and had a no quit attitude, along with a strong work ethic. Alice worked at Best Western until the day she fell and needed surgery to repair her hip.
Alice is survived by her children Ron & his wife Lisa, Ramona, Joe, Miguel, Maria & her husband Jason; grandchildren Michael, Heather, Jeffrey, Michael, Nick, Alex, Cecilia, Meghan, Damen, David, Riley, Rowan; numerous great grandchildren.
To her family she was a loving sister, wife, mother, aunt and grandma. She loved her family and friends with a fierce loyalty, and her warmth and comfort will dearly be missed. But in her absence here on Earth, she will certainly be looking after us all, helping us all to show that same kind of love to each other.
