Alexander Sandoval, Jr.

Alexander Sandoval, Jr., age 77, died peacefully at home under Hospice Care on June 7, 2025. The cause of death was complications of prostate cancer.

Born 4/18/1948 in Las Vegas, NM, he lived in Bernal, NM, Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ, Northglenn, CO, Long Beach, CA, Arvada, CO and Thornton, CO attended Merrit Hutton H.S., CU Boulder and CU Denver. Had many different occupations including 40+ years as a Safeway Retail Clerk until retiring in 2006 when he became Chief Home Administrator and Chauffer. Alex loved playing golf and eventually met Dana when teamed up at a couples’ tournament at Eagle Trace Golf Course – his home course.

Survivors Include: Spouse: Dana M. Sandoval (Luter), Son: Eli F. Sandoval, Brothers & Sisters: Jerry Sandoval (Janice), Mark Sandoval (Nancy), Sophie Apodaca (Steve), Mike Sandoval and Tom Sandoval (Dodie): Preceded in death by: Parents - Alexander Sandoval, Sr. & Dolores Castellano, Grandson - “Little Alex” Sandoval.

Celebration of Life for Alex will be held Thursday, July 17, 2025 @ 11 AM, Horan & McConaty, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, CO 80229 with reception immediately following in the reception center until 1:30pm.
