Born August 12th, 1950 in Denver Colorado, to Dora Aguila and raised by Abelardo “Auggie” Martinez. Along with his 3 Brothers Tony, Richard and Abe, his 2 Sisters Stella and Marina. He was Honorably Discharged after serving in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Married in 1970 to his Proverb 31 Wife JoAnn. Retired CDOT Engineer of 25 years. Father to his 2 sons Chris and Matt, 4 daughters Kimberly, Leah, Rebekah and Alexis. Grandfather of 5 Victoria, C.J., Mateo, Luke and Gabriella. Fostered hundreds of children over a span of 26 years. Father figure to many others. He was best known for His smile, laughter, and hugs. He was a man whose presence changed the room. His life mission was to mentor and make an impact to all those he encountered. Avid Hunter, Fisherman and Sportsman. His specialty was his famous ten-dollar bag of jerky. He always put Yeshua first in every aspect of his life. He was a man of order whose character matched his conduct. His foundation of life was studying and walking out the Torah to the best of his ability. He was loved and adored. He joined the great cloud of witness’s on January 26th, 2021. His memory and merit will continue throughout his Legacy.
