Aleksandra Gopsill (née Chorovich), born July 5, 1935, in St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on September 18, 2026, in Centennial, Colorado.

Aleksandra attended The Ohio State University and later earned an associate degree from Arapahoe Community College. She was an active member of the Philoptochos Society at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church and the Cherry Creek Republican Women. Faith, family, and community were central to her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth Monroe Gopsill Jr., who died on May 14, 2023. Together they built a close and loving family. Aleksandra is survived by her daughter, Adrianna Henderson, and her spouse, Dale Henderson; her son, Eric Gopsill, and his spouse, Kelli Gopsill; and her son, Karl Gopsill, and his spouse, Kim Gopsill. She was a devoted mother, Nana, and great-Nana. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Katherine McCartney and her spouse, Angelo McCartney; Morgan Pope and her spouse, Trent Pope; Mollie Killmon and her spouse, Bryce Killmon; Luke Gopsill; and Dane Gopsill. It also continues through her great-grandchildren, Stella McCartney, daughter of Katherine, and Colton Killmon, son of Mollie.

Aleksandra lived a full and meaningful life, leaving behind a lasting legacy that will never be forgotten. She has fallen asleep in the Lord. May her memory be eternal.
