Aleksandr Frederick Hilton Grimm was born on March 22, 1979 in Aurora, Colorado. He was born to Janis Varney and Richard Grimm and was 46 years old when he passed on June 13th, 2025.

Alek lived every day to the fullest and believed in accepting people for who they were no matter where they were in life. He believed in not stepping on others to get ahead and loved to make everyone happy, which is what always made him happy.

Alek created the selfie long before social media made it cool and everyone has pictures to prove. Alek had an incredible green thumb and made everything come back to life, beautiful and green. He enjoyed watching YouTube, and listening to a variety of music. Alek liked plants and nature, with a collection of rocks, rare stones, and crystals. He loved shiny things which attributed to his fine collection of jewelry. Alek loved long drives with the Jeep top down with music playing loud on the radio.

Alek had a funny sense of humor and you always knew you were in for a good time if Alek showed up to an event. He loved his siblings, chosen family, and friends. Alek always had a hard time saying goodbye , but when he did, he wouldn’t do it without saying , “Love you, mean it!”.
