Alan J. Desmarteau

Alan J. ""Al"" Desmarteau of Arvada, Colorado passed away on April 24, 2018 at the age of 68. He passed away from Parkinson's Lewy Body Dementia and a brain bleed, along with pneumonia. Al's family will receive friends and family at a Visitation on Thursday, April 26, 2018 beginning at 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 969 Ulysses Street, Golden, Colorado. The Interment will immediately follow at Golden Cemetery, 755 Ulysses Street, Golden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be made in Al's honor to Creighton University. Please indicate that it is a memorial donation in Al's name directed to the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. By providing your name and address, proper acknowledgements can be made. Al was a Pharmacist trained at Creighton and he had a love of the university and especially for Creighton basketball.
