Agnes W. Ozog died on December 24, 2022, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Agnes was born in Detroit, Michigan, on February 24, 1927, to John and Mary Mydlarz. She had seven older siblings: Walter, Frank, John, Agnieszka, Joseph, Stanley, and Helen.
She graduated from Catholic school in Dearborn and held various clerical positions, including a job as a switchboard operator. She always said she loved that job.
After the end of World War II, she met Frank Ozog on a blind date. They were married on Thanksgiving Day, 1948, and moved to Evanston, Illinois, where Frank obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry.
Frank (also known as Doc) and Agnes moved to Colorado in 1950 and Frank started teaching at Regis College. They moved to Evergreen in 1960 where they raised three children: Kathleen Heymans (Michael John), Mark Ozog (Maryke), and Michael Ozog. Frank passed in 2009 and Agnes stayed in Evergreen until 2012.
Agnes is also survived by Mark's children, David Ozog (Susan) and their son Aiden, and Paul Ozog (Carrie Floyd) and their children Morgan and Sutton; and Michael's children, Gus and Eve.
Agnes was an outgoing, feisty lady with a cute giggle and a great sense of humor. She loved her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had many good friends, most of whom she sadly outlived. She also loved to travel to conventions with "Doc" and enjoyed entertaining the Regis faculty.
After Doc's death, she enjoyed her cats Ponco and Eliza.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings and her cat Ponco.
A private funeral Mass is planned at Regis with internment at Fort Logan.
