Adrian Harold Jones

December 8, 1943 — July 29, 2016

Adrian Harold Jones, 72, formerly of Aurora, Colorado, passed away July 29, 2016. He was born December 8, 1943 in Malad, Idaho to David Harold and Mable Rust Jones. Adrian was raised in Malad and St. John, Idaho. He attended schools in Malad and then graduated from Idaho State University. He served a Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1963-1965, serving in the Western States Mission. He married Patricia Jean Facer May 31, 1966 in the Logan LDS Temple in Logan, Utah. In 1968, they moved to Aurora, Colorado to work as a Business Machines Technician. Adrian has always been an active member of the LDS Church. (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). He served in many callings and loved to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, watching the Denver Broncos and vacationing with his family and friends. He especially loved Yellowstone National Park, the Tetons, US History sites and LDS Church history sites. Adrian is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Patricia; son and daughter-in-law, Brent Adrian and Stacy Hamilton Jones; grandson, Jackson Bret Jones and granddaughter, Reagan Sarah Jones; brother, David Anthon (wife, Susan) Jones; and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, from 6:00-8:00pm, at the Heartlight Center, adjacent to Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. (at Parker Rd.), Aurora, CO 80014. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the St. John Cemetery, St. John, Idaho.
