Patty passed away Tuesday June 22nd. Patty was born on November 23rd in St. Paul MN to George and Clara Connor. She grew up with her two brothers Jack (deceased) and Buzz who is still residing in Woodbury MN. Patty was preceded in death by her husband Gerald “Jerry” Balfanz. They married in 1959 and moved to Denver shortly after. Patty is survived by her son Scott (Kim), daughter Kim Dexter (Scott), and son David (Jodi). Patty is also survived by her grandchildren. Kelsey Williams (Cody), Karly Castor (Justin), Eric (Chelsea), Kelly, Logan and Lexie.

Patty’s greatest accomplishments included raising her three children and watching her 6 grandchildren grow up.

You could always count on Patty to tell you she was proud of you, cheer you on, and lift you up when you needed it. She was a voice of discernment and accountability to so many, and her words will be forever cherished by those who were lucky enough to hear them. Her faith and wisdom guided her throughout her life. Her footprints left a path that can be followed, but will never be filled. We will forever miss her smile, her love and her laughter.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Saint Benedicts Monastery  in Aspen Colorado or Fort Logan National Cemetery.
