Juliet Amartey

Juliet Ahiney Amartey at the age of 69 passed away at Littleton Hospital on March 24th 2022 at 4:45pm. The cause was cardiac arrest, under anesthesia for an out patient surgery.

Juliet was born June 2nd 1952 in Accra, Ghana to Quarshie Amartey and Dora O Attipoe. She moved to the united states in the 70's to Worcester, Massachusetts where she lived with her husband and had her first son Emmanuel. Then the family moved to New York. Two years later she had her second son while in Ghana, Harrison Jr. Later the family moved to Colorado and it their home.

What brought Juliet happiness was the word of God, Manny grandchildren which she would call "her little boyfriend" and her son's, cooking and shopping for gift giving. She couldn't pass up a good deal.

Juliet way of showing love was to provide meals that would turn into a feast at the holidays to her neighbors, friends and family.

Survivors include: Son's Emmanuel and Harrison, 2 grandchildren Donovan and Manny, her sister Georgina and brother in-law David, 3 nieces Rebecca, Amanda and Amira.

Services will be held on 07/16/2022 at Horan & McConaty Mortuary 11150 E Dartmouth Ave from 9:00am to 12:30pm.
