Brian Hunt

Brian Wallace Hunt, age 37, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday March 10th, 2021 in Denver, CO. Brian was born in Denver on September 26, 1983 to parents Bobby and Tedi Hunt.

Brian graduated in 2002 from Chatfield High School, and from Colorado State University in 2007, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication. While at CSU, Brian dedicated much of his time to his fraternity brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha. Brian worked alongside his parents for The Hunts Real Estate Group, their family business.

Brian was an avid athlete throughout his life. He was especially passionate about baseball, having played from his earliest years and throughout high school. You could always find him at a Rockies game however, his most beloved team was the Baltimore Orioles. He loved the game of golf and competed in several long-drive competitions. Each year, he hosted a golf tournament for his friends called “The Summit Shootout.” Brian was a true competitor no matter the sport—especially during March Madness where he organized a yearly bracket competition amongst his friends and family. He had a tremendous love of the outdoors, and in particular, snowboarding. He would never miss an opportunity to shred some powder.

Brian will always be remembered for his positive and energetic spirit and outlook on life. He had great compassion, patience, and love for others. His outgoing and engaging nature impacted everyone he knew. Brian possessed the rare gift of being able to walk into a room of one hundred strangers and leave with one hundred friends. He had an unforgettable sense of humor and could fill every room with laughter.

Brian is survived by his parents, Bobby and Tedi Hunt of Littleton, CO, a brother, Calen (Paige) Hunt of Exton, PA, two aunts, Teri (Steve) Childs of Grand Junction, CO and Deb (Bill) Boutwell of Brule, NE, several cousins whom he loved so dearly, and countless friends both near and far. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vincent and Janice Hunt and Wallace and Dorothy Spallinger.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday March 17th at Horan and McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Lakewood, CO 80227 from 4:00pm-8:00pm. A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday March 18th at 10:30am at Passionate Life Church, 10393 W. Alamo Pl. Littleton, CO 80127.
