Braden Thomas Hanna

April 13, 1973 ~ June 25, 2022 (age 49)

Braden Thomas Hanna, age 49, died unexpectedly on June 25th, 2022. Braden was an alumnus of Louisiana State University, Portland State University and Montana State University. He met Kelly while living in Portland, Oregon. They were married on September 11th, 1999, at Hug Point in Arch Cape Oregon. After completing his Master of Science from Montana State University, Braden began a career in environmental consulting. He was an intrinsic contributor to leadership at Itasca Denver where he thrived as a Principal Geochemist.

Braden’s wit, intellect, and creativity made him well loved by all. He was an avid outdoors man. He enjoyed off road motorcycles, climbing, skiing, and hunting. Braden’s greatest love was his family. He was a devoted husband and father who somehow managed to be successful in all his endeavors while always putting the needs and wants of his family first. He is sorely missed by his loving wife Kelly, their son Caelis (21), and their daughter Maira (15).

In addition to his wife and children, Braden is survived by his father, Thomas Hanna, sisters Megan Jennings, and Erin Hogan, and several in-laws, nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret Hanna.
