Barbara Dorsey

Barbara Somers Dorsey, age 90, passed from this life on November 22 in Denver.

Born on May 30,1931 in New Jersey, she resided in Colorado since 1969 where she and her husband Tom lived, loved, and raised their children. Her garden and parties were not to be missed and her home was a welcoming spot for kids of all ages! She loved to travel and frequented jazz parties around the country.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years.  She is survived by her three children and six grandchildren, Skip (Shawna, Ryan and Tyler), Reaney (Bob, Erin, Sydney, and Thomas), and Tom (Junko and Kuma).

Services will be held on December 4, 2021 at 1pm at Horan & McConaty, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, Colorado.  Relatives and friends are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are welcome at the American Cancer Society.
