Obituary

Carolyn, 93, of Arvada, Colorado passed away peacefully on November 4, 2017.

Gracing this earth with her presence for almost a century, Carolyn Anne Kramer, 93 years young, lived a long, full life travelling to many countries, enjoying a lot of adventures, spending time with friends and loved ones, and raising her family to love and follow the Lord. Although her roots lie in Teapot Dome, Wyoming, Carolyn moved around often with her parents and five siblings due to her father's profession. Mainly in her youth, she resided in San Antonio, Texas and Boulder, Colorado where she completed two years of education at the University of Colorado. Later, Carolyn married, had children, and took residence in Arvada. There she lived for 50 years before joining the angels in Heaven. Devoted to her family, Carolyn desired nothing but goodness and God's protection for her four children, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She took pride in her professional life working for Rocky Flats, the nursery at her sister and brother in law's bowling alley, and volunteering at Lutheran Hospital for 35 years.

Delighting in conversing with pretty much everyone she met, Carolyn had a special way with people and could warm anyone's heart. She always welcomed all, loved all, and was kind to all. She loved and adored children, especially babies. This remarkable woman was a very skilled painter and created beautiful pieces even up to her last year of life. Thoroughly enjoying the performing arts, Carolyn was very fond of the symphony, ballet, and opera. She also took pleasure in music, swimming, ice-skating, and gambling. Among other hobbies, Carolyn took joy in travelling internationally, going on cruises, and dining and dancing with her beloved husband, Bill Kramer. The two of them were often complimented on their lovely dancing, especially the waltz, which was her favorite. Carolyn liked collecting angels and anything that was bright, animated, and made noise like music or singing. She was also an avid Denver Broncos fan. As the loving, humorous, and vibrant woman that she was, Carolyn is deeply missed and warmly remembered for the impression she has left on our lives and our hearts.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Edward K. Wolanski, Jr., Teresa K. (Skip) Cunningham, Crystal C. Hamilton and Meredith (Michael) A. Schultz; grandchildren, Joseph T. (September) Boscia, Kristen C. Hamilton, and Ashley E. Hamilton; great grandchildren, Skyler B. Hamilton, Joseph T. Boscia, Jr., and Brooks A. Boscia. She is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Kramer; and her siblings.

The family will receive friends at visitation on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, from 9:30 - 10:30 AM, with a Funeral Service beginning at 10:30 AM, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 West 80th Avenue, in Arvada, Colorado 80003.
