Linda L. Finegan (Tate, Case), 67, was quickly whisked away to her heavenly home on April 27, 2016, to join the choir of angels and dance on streets of gold. She was born in Pueblo on June 30, 1948. Preceded in death by her husband, Don Finegan. Survived by siblings Cindy (Tom) Cole, Rich (Ronette) Case, and Tobias Levi; children Jeffrey (Kelly) Tate, Jeremy Tate, Jennifer (Don) Tate, stepdaughter Christina Finegan; and young grandchildren Declan, Emma and Ava Tate. Linda loved to laugh, learn and connect with others. And to sing and dance unto the Lord with all her heart. She was fun and brave, and had a desire to be active and experience new adventures. Her latest, and perhaps most fulfilling adventure, was being on "grandma duty." Petite in stature but huge in spiritual strength, Linda became a prayer warrior who had unshakable faith in her abba father. Refusing to focus on negative, she chose to "speak life" and expect miracles. And she witnessed many. Those who knew Linda at any point in their lives became a friend for life. Those who knew her well knew they could depend on her love, prayers, and creative generosity. One of her favorite verses was Psalm 91. The Lord was her shelter and fortress, and her legacy is a testimony to His grace. Memorial service on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Gateway on Mt. Zion, 166 S. Lookout Mountain Rd., Golden, CO 80401. Online condolences
