Valeria Dekay

Valeria, 86, of Denver, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 22, 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Shary (Steve) Denes, grandson, Gabe Dekay, and numerous other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Laszlo Dekay, and her son, Laszlo. She resided in the Washington Park neighborhood for 56 years and will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and neighbors. Valeria will be remembered for her hard working nature, selflessness, determination, witty sense of humor, and deep love for her family. She was also an excellent cook and very proud of her Hungarian heritage. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 300 S.
