Val Lawrence

Valerie Lynn Lawrence (Groninga) was born May 24th 1957 in Granite Falls, MN. She was born to Kenneth and Helen (Utne) Groninga. She had a younger brother Tom and a younger sister Lori. In 1980 she moved to CO. In 1986, she married Rick Lawrence and together they had two children, Addison and Connor Lawrence. Val was an enthusiast of animals, photography, music and bargain hunting. On June 2nd 2018, Val passed away after a brave battle with cancer. She spent her last days surrounded by friends and family. Her children were her pride and joy and her legacy and kind spirit will live on through them. The family requests that no one wears black, but purple instead.
